Where has the summer gone?

It's officially less than a month until I go back to school. When I reach that point I'm mixed parts of feeling so happy and so sad. It's hard when you realize that summer is almost gone. Right now we are getting to the dog days of summer where it is 100+ degrees outside. I love sunshine, but I detest heat and humidity. I would much rather have the beautiful days of winter where it is sunny and blue skies, but chilly. I love that contrast. So, it is with a heavy heart that I realize I'm on the downward spiral back to a regular routine, but it's all good. I'm super excited about seeing all the regulars again. After all, it's a brand new school year!
